I have been working at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

The company is focused on helping its customers in NC improve their health, and pay for care when it is needed - neighbor helping neighbor. There are many opportunities to work on a variety of things. The benefits are great. There is a lot of change happening, which offers some ground-floor type options. Hard work with good results is rewarded.

Cons

Large companies have issues related to size. Health Care Reform is causing lots of changes, and there is a lot going on at this point.

Advice to Management

Treat job applicants with as much respect and courtesy as our customers.
