I have been working at Boeing full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Flexibility, support, good management, high learning curve

    Cons

Old ways, slow to change, technology behind, slow hiring process, poor mentoring

    Advice to Management

Get on the technological front...we just barely got 2 screens per engineer. Need to get ipads and touch screens to be more efficient. Mentoring programs are all crap. You need to teach a culture to educate your peers. Right now it's all based on if you ask a more senior person a question, but there are questions that you don't even know what to ask.
