The 401(k) match is nice (10%). Generally, the people I have worked with have been helpful and kind. Stable career, as Boeing is essentially a true example of "Too Big to Fail".
Pay is subpar and you will not keep with the market unless you job hop. My friends who got promoted to my level after me were instantly making 10% more, and management does not care. Boeing is also full of older employees and incompetent (out of touch) leadership that is completely resistant to change. They do not care about their employees. People bring up concerns, and when nothing changes, management is shocked when our attrition rate is 40%. Yes, forty. They treat younger employees like they are under qualified and then need help connecting to WiFi ten minutes later. I'm counting down the days so I won't have to pay back my relocation (46). If you want a company with people trapped in the 80's, gladly work for this second place aerospace manufacturer. Second place in a duopoly.Continue reading
