No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Bombardier Aerospace full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Brilliant people, hard working environment

Cons

A lot of red tape, lack of simple processes that are easy to find. A lot of new employees with not enough training available.

Advice to Management

Spend more money on well laid processes based on lessons learned and even more so ensure training programs are in place and mandatory for new employees or those with less than 5 years experience. If this doesn't happen fast, all the valuable knowledge will be lost with the employees that leave.

I worked at Bombardier Aerospace as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Fast learning experience and great colleagues
    - CSeries gives big picture overview of starting a new aircraft program - allows you to absorb a lot of information very quickly about a large, complex industry
    - Routine meetings to keep team cohesive and aware
    - Very understanding manager

    Cons

    - Summer interns do not always have work, and not given much attention when everyone else has work; managers seemed overloaded with work
    - Could be given more defined tasks
    - Cash containment measure in place makes it hard for interns to transition to full-time
