Random and frequent lay offs with little to no warning, no communication, fear of losing your job, a lot of recent changes

    I worked at Bonnier Corporation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Ability to work on premier magazines with large exposure. With certain groups, fun projects are regular. Unlimited coffee.

    Cons

    Technical decisions made by nontechnical people. Difficult to get quality equipment to test and work with. Shifting industry with uncertain future. Many employees are overworked and under-appreciated.

    Advice to Management

    Regular conversations with employees to understand challenges. Define a structure and relay it to staff regularly due to high turnover.
