Pros

Awesome people Free lunch every month or so, although you have to sit through an hour long meeting Cool office space

Cons

The CEO and VP make up the upper management, while everyone else is involved with the actual projects. There is a huge discrepancy with what is put in statements of work and what the clients are expecting (and usually adding in down the line,) and this causes the majority of stress amongst the workers. There is also no process, structure, or clear outline of responsibilities, which has caused every project over the past few years to go through unnecessary hiccups. Projects are often touted as successes by management, despite the fact that they've caused tension and frustration throughout departments. The sales team is encouraged to sell just about anything they can, which causes problems to build up as projects move along; requirements aren't understood and communicated, and the promised deliverable can't possibly be met. Lastly, employees feel that they are just working to buy the CEO a new Range Rover, Rolex, or lake house. there is no incentive to improve, although there is also no room for growth within the company, so I guess that won't change any time soon.

Pros

The people and the culture at Boston Digital is great. It’s a tight-knit company where everyone gets along great with each other. Regular outings and events have facilitated a great working atmosphere amongst staff. The work at Boston Digital is varied with a range of clients in different sectors who are receiving different services. As an intern, I got to participate in a range of these projects that have boosted my knowledge in the area of website development and marketing. Hybrid working has meant that any staff can work from the office or from home whenever they like without limit which is great for giving all of the staff the option of working from pretty much anywhere. IT equipment is also great with new up to date MacBooks for work. Overall, a great company to work for where you feel appreciated in the day to day work.

Cons

To be honest, I didn’t come across many cons of working at Boston Digital. The downturn in the economy has made it difficult for all marketing agencies and this has also affected Boston Digital.

Pros

Clients are great, They do decent work. There are good people that work at BD.

Cons

I have worked in agencies my whole life, all shapes and sizes. I have never experienced leadership like this. Toxic, disloyal, shallow. Profit in the owners pocket is all that is cared about. Run, don't walk.
