I have been working at Boston Market part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

People always hear "A job us a job is a job" the location Iw worked at was literally located in a cut and not many people could see it unless they knew the place was there. One bad location if you would like to boost sales. The 50 percent off and the employees were honestly about it which I found enjoyable.

Cons

There's seems to be a distance of connections in the people who feel a "TITLE" makes you better than your employees. The General Manager was a penny pinching cheap skate who would yell at us for over using a product and say it costs $5 dollars, Can you say cheap? you have no place to advance and actually be a better employee. No incentive and if there was one it would be impossible to receive. You have to have no ego to work in this job because many people tend to look down on you. They over work the living right of of you for little pay. Who can survive off of $7.50 Enough is enough hours are okay they cut my hours by 20 hours and that tremendously effected my mood about the place. Again they feel "entitled" that your a manager you have to do as I say and if you don't your going to get written up. The people which manage this place need to get there acts together as a manager you treat your people with respect and dignity which they do not

Advice to Management

Your rules are so out of touch which actually needs to be done. And you honestly wonder why you aren't Top 10 for the restaurant categories because on a customer level you guys don't have your heads on right

I have been working at Boston Market part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice employees, nice customers, some tips ($10) during holiday, easy work.

    Cons

Always wanna get paid more, tips aren't great, no break for less than 6 hours working but its not crazy busy so its easy to take a few quick breaks.

    Advice to Management

We need breaks... 6 hours standing is unnecessary.
