    Pros

Decent Pay, good tuition reimbursement and vacation benefits. Health benefits have gone downhill the last couple years.

    Cons

Upper management is essentially a group of former engineers and most aren't necessarily management material.

I have been working at Boston Scientific full-time

    Pros

There are a lot of smart guys I have been working with. People are willing to offer helps and share knowledge whenever needed. Your efforts towards your work are reasonably appreciated. A lot of managers were promoted from technical positions and therefore understood the underlying technology.

    Cons

Senior leadership made numerous mistakes at the expense of company's revenue as well as head counts. The company stopped hiring new people and wasn't able to keep its current talents. Rounds of lay-off in the last 5 years. Company also stopped investing in promising/differentiating projects and only focused on catching up with competitors.

    Advice to Management

Spend more money on R&D and stop making stupid mistakes
