I have been working at Brafton full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Interesting work, at the cutting edge of a growing industry. The people at Brafton are really committed good guys. Staff possess high levels of industry knowledge and there are strong opportunities for learning. Friendly management and supportive work environment. Across the organization, there is a strong clarity of purpose as to what the Company is trying to achieve/deliver. Can do attitude.

    Cons

The supply of free chocolate M&Ms sometimes runs dry before being replenished, and the peanuts/crisps are not the same....

    Advice to Management

Management are friendly and helpful, but they are always busy. Everyone is down to earth and approachable so it is not a problem, but there is always a lot going on.

I have been working at Brafton for less than a year

    Pros

    1) Flexibility (if you work hourly). Opportunities to work remotely and on your own schedule, as long as deadlines are met. 2) Fantastic group of project managers. Not once have I had a negative interaction, and other Brafton employees are truly a joy to work with. 3) Wide variety of clients and potential contracts. If you have a natural curiosity to explore a vast number of industries, this is definitely the place for you. If you have particular industry preferences or experience, Brafton will almost certainly have a client that caters to your professional strengths.

    Cons

    1) Pay is contingent on your contract (if you work hourly), so income is partially dependent on your negotiation skills. If the specific client for which you were initially hired no longer has a need for marketing services, you will most likely be given a new offer that may have less favorable terms. 2) The company is steadily cutting back on its use of hourly employees. This means that if you are an hourly worker, you will eventually be asked to join full-time, which may well result in a de-facto pay cut and loss of flexibility. 3) Limited opportunities for rapid career advancement.

    Advice to Management

More opportunities for rapid career advancement. Also, refrain from gradually subjecting workers to worse employment conditions, such as decreased pay rates and mandatory office attendance.
