Pros

Competitive pay, they had a great HR department who took care of all of my needs, they also paid a bonus upon the completion of my position

Cons

There were very vague expectations for weekend work. I was orignally told that some weekend work may be required. This turned into every weekend, and I was soon getting guilt trips about working. Pretty unprofessional.

    Pros

    > Company vehicle with gas card.
    > Housing either paid for or provided by company.
    > Annual bonuses.

    Cons

Always on the road for work with little structure and security. Very common to not know what project you're going to be on next, where it will be, how long you'll be there, when you'll be home next, and the cycle just continues. Work is highly weather dependent all year with significant seasonal variations (lots of people laid off during the winter). Low salary in relation to the work load performed and sacrifices you have to make. Huge lack in future opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Develop the talent you already have instead of consistently overlooking existing employees trying to find new ones. Employees that get praised for their good work expect to receive promotions and take on more responsibility, they don't bust ass to stay in a dead-end job.
