    Pros

    PTO policy is awesome. They are really trying to focus on the future growth of the company. It really is a great place to work compared to other companies.

    Cons

    Management tends to spread some employees to thin while others are not really doing their job at all. Time to really evaluate employees and determine who is really valuable and who is just someone who is not really doing anything, has been there for years and that is the only reason they have a job.

    I have been working at Brentwood Industries full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Great PTO plan and other employees are great to work with. There are some very good people who care about others at this company. For the most part, groups work together very well. Some depts. are better to work in then others. The benefits are above average and flexible work environment if you need to leave for appointment.

    Cons

    What's new? Not making enough money to support the efforts of those pulling their weight. International sites draining company of funds. No good raises except if you're at the top - even bad years. Good people leaving this year that were in key positions - HR, Manufacturing, etc. And now we are left with the inexperienced and the old or another family member trying to step in.

    Advice to Management

    You don't have the right business plan to move us forward. Having meetings on "how to get along with each other" isn't the problem. Year after year, trying to pull people together. Don't you know it's the leadership that sets the tone? What does that tell you? Probably more layoffs coming our way....that's been the trend for last 3 years. Develop a better business plan. Get out of business that isn't making... money. Stop all unnecessary travel. Take care of the folks that take care of you.
