    Pros

Great guys in the frontlines, get to meet all the clients, can learn every process(aeration, pruning, fert, etc, etc) in landscaping with in 2 years.
Can learn the office processes quick if your smart.

    Cons

Managers make empty promises, lie, steal, abuse, under utilize clients and employees. There is a lot of favorites. Managers call the "favorites" weak and needing extra attention, ok but why do they get the new equipment, new truck, new property, 3 reviews and 3 raises in a year(Because they have a big mouth and tell everyone, then buy a new car), help from a manager at the drop of a hat(like covering for them when they are late to work because they have a hangover or wreck a trailer going through a drivethru and not taking a drug test). While the guys who genuinely care and do a good job, learn, can work with everybody and everybody wants to work with them, never had a accident in 5 plus years, who do their job without complaining about it till they get something easier, outperform all, loved by the clients and can pass a drug test without time to study for it, are made to feel unchallenged, under utilized, unappreciated, unrespected. And dont try to give notice that you are leaving because you will be fired that day.

    Advice to Management

Promote from within. Having someone who came from a garbage company or cintas or all the other places they came from to be a leader is bad for moral all the way down to crew members. Drug test before and during employment not when employee has an accident to avoid paying workmans comp. Also would be nice to check to see if a person is registered and not to vote before you send him to do work at a daycare that you maintain. Be care how much you expose to an employee who hasnt signed a noncompete or solicit agreement, especially if they have talent. Managers need to relearn what goes on in field. Facebook and youtube should be blocked on company computers and phones. Also looks bad if 2 of 3 of your management class graduates get better careers at other companies.
