I have been working at BrightStar Care as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible hours. Wide variety of patients over a large territory

    Cons

No benefits--advertised benefits are only available to full or part time employees----which they are not hiring!!! Working as a Nurse for 60+ hours/week and travelling over 300 miles nets less than $600./wk

    Advice to Management

Follow thru with promises--You get what you pay for!!!!Expect to pay for quality if that's what you really want---otherwise expect patient/family complaints.

    Pros

Flexibility, meet new people, gained skills

    Cons

Heavily advertised as HR position, but you get bogged down with staffing. Manager had no managerial skills.

    Advice to Management

Nice, sensitive, needs to take management course.
