I worked at Brink's, Incorporated full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Historically a good company, with a great history. First company to have an armored vehicle, and overall has very good people working there.

Cons

Senior management doesn't have the strategic vision to take the business to the next level--or even keep it at the same level. When I left the company there were 32 Vice Presidents who did little but shuffle paper to each other, while they were letting supervisors go by the bucketful. Company is incredibly top heavy, and are not competing at a high level.

Advice to Management

Get your head straight and build the business--create a vision that makes sense and stop the slow death you've caused. This was once a great company, now it appears you're just trying to let it die a slow death.

I have been working at Brink's, Incorporated full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Few-very few co-workers who still value good work ethics.

    Cons

EVERYTHING ELSE. No time with family. Can't move up in the company. You have to know someone to be taken care of. No integrity. A haven for scum bags who want to get paid and do nothing. NO DISCIPLINE. You have to kill someone to get fired. Employees laugh at you for trying to correct their mistake. I wouldn't trust 95% of employees with a firearm much less handle cash. I would rather go back to the military and deploy to Iraq or Afghanistan again then to work for this company.

    Advice to Management

They don't care for what I have to say. I would just be wasting my breath.

I worked at Brink's, Incorporated (More than a year)

    Pros

Good people, conservative company. Steady like a turtle.

    Cons

Slow to adapt technology. Stuck in "old world" mentality. Operation based company, not sales oriented at all.

    Advice to Management

    More flexibility for Sales team.
