I worked at British Airways full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

All the benefits were excellent, including my coworkers

Cons

Management seemed to forget how hard it really is on the phones.

Advice to Management

start training assistant team leaders. also spend at least three days a month on the phones to refresh yourselves with procedures and heartaches the workers are experiencing.

I worked at British Airways full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you are lucky enough to survive the travel can be great.

    Cons

One of the worst managed call centers I have worked in. They care nothing for the employees which is a shame because they hire really smart and sweet people then they run them into the ground. If you have really tough skin you can survive.

    Advice to Management

There is nothing that I can say that will change the culture you have created and maintained. Try to treat ryour people better it is the least that they deserve!

"It was typical call center experience...people who are wanting to be part of the "in crowd" get promoted."

I worked at British Airways full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits including travel and the chance to interact with people all over the world.

    Cons

Understaffed and no room for the personal touch with their employees. Was disappointed on how I was let go and finally understood why all the other employees complained so much about the company.

    Advice to Management

Get to know your employees on a "human" level and not just another number.
