I have been working at Broadcom full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Great location, can't beat Orange County!
    - Great Cafeteria!
    - Smart people
    - Beautiful campus
    - Flexible schedule

    Cons

Lack of promotions at the lower levels. Finance organization is very top heavy with too many directors and managers who believe they shouldn't do anything. A lot of the work is very boring and mundane work. Too many talkers and not enough doers

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring external candidates for higher level positions, develop and take a chance on your internal talent. Share the wealth, stop paying yourselves all the money. Give the money to the people who actually do the work!
