I have been working at Broadcom full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Many dedicated professionals make effort to contribute to the company's success.

Cons

Executives with poor vision and not being favored by the wall street.

Advice to Management

How can the executives cut the employees' benefits while keeping inflating their own pay checks? Should such compassion and leadership be respected?

    Pros

Good local people that want to do the right thing but no support and no desire to change. The standard is "you don't understand we do it the Broadcom way."

    Cons

Lack of advancement for good people and little incentive to makethings better. Everything outside of Irvine is operated like a unwanted stepchild and the bottomline is ALWAYS about money.

    Advice to Management

Wake up and hire professionals that understand and can truely operate your facilities. You will not attract not retain top talent in Silicon Valley unless you change.
