Pros

Best place to improve knowledge on the latest technologies in Wi-Fi.
The hierarchy is transparent and easy to meet any one of them with no effort.

Cons

Food services are not great.

    Good technical ladder path for individual contributors. A lot of cultural diversity, talent pool.
    Good internal transfer policy so one can have a lot of options to pursue different interests

    As the company has grown, so have the hierarchy and layers in some organization

    Strive to stay nimble and agile in order to be competitive

    I worked at Broadcom full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    1. Have much latest knowledge and know-how.
    2. Almost unlimited resource to engineers.
    3. Work and life balance.
    4. Not too bad pay.

    Cons

    1.Bad market strategy.
    2. Too many politics.
    3. Worse and worse benefit since 2008.
    4. Communication when remote site cooperation.

    Advice to Management

    Think about what is the best to company. And most important thing, do not cut off benefit anymore.
