Buffalo Wild Wings is a great place to work if you enjoy learning multiple skills simultaneously and have no issues working with a team, adapting to new policies on the fly, be willing to adapt to the needs of various different customers with different ways of conveying their problems, and can handle requests for unfamiliar requests independent of how you were trained.
Cons
The policies of Buffalo Wild Wings are changing in many ways that do not favor their employees at all. They will do everything to cut your hours and phase you out if you've dared to slight them or get close to working for a year, because they have zero desire to give you benefits, be those unemployment or the various benefits they offer after a year of employment. Even then, there is almost no way to be irreplaceable there without being a manager, and they would rather hire new employees than retain experienced ones. They are no longer giving compensated lunches to employees, more employees are being given duties outside of their training, and you can always expect to be overworked and underpaid because they would like to have the minimum required staff on duty at any point. For the cashier position specifically, your tip money is being phased out by automated phone systems, you're expected to do jobs previously reserved for servers in the same amount of time you had to prepare for your position beforehand.
