I have been working at Burlington Stores part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

If you want a company that is ready to hire you, apply for Burlington, they will have a job for you.

The management at this location is understanding although they won't have you in high esteem if you are not available.

Cons

There were too many favorites and the best part was seeing an absolute bum become a supervisor.

They should penalize all the bums who work here and reward those who actually did their jobs. During closing time, I've seen my co-workers idly stand by as the new ones do their work. It's ridiculous, they should have a way of rewarding the workers who actually care before they learn that not caring is their best option.

Advice to Management

Reward your hard workers! Give them a raise and more hours if they need it!

    Pros

Co-workers were awesome but nothing else comes to mind.

    Cons

Management has no respect for employees, not enough hours, below poverty pay, no benefits, no full time positions, not enough employees on the floor so the store gets trashed, hard workers are not appreciated, very negative atmosphere, discount is a joke

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, show some respect, reward hard workers with more hours and higher pay.

I have been working at Burlington Stores part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The merchandise. Although, long-term customers have been complaining it has become inferior with quality.

    Cons

Bare minimum wage. Management confounds pay raise reviews for all employees. Stores are understaffed with high turnovers to avoid unemployment benefits. Employees are over worked, disrespected, and kept quite or fired. Disorganized with scheduling, and cheats employees out of paid time off. Multiple pay check errors. Overall, terrible management, and unethical conduct at all levels. There is a fierce deficit in the corporation's attention to follow through with non-compliance. As in, they knowingly turn the other cheek.

    Advice to Management

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
