We're very sorry to hear that you didn't have a positive experience at Busbud. We recognize we aren't perfect, but we are working very hard to improve, starting with listening to reviews and feedback from our employees.
It is true that our startup environment means high expectations, but that is because we are composed of highly passionate employees who want to give their 120% to build real travel solutions to our clients.
Since your review, we've also worked hard to ensure a culture of trust and transparency by holding weekly kick-off meetings, where each department presents their goals and achievements, open mics to share new industry knowledge, and sprint demos to showcase progress from the technical team.
As for diversity, you're right, we need to embrace it. We've increase awareness and training for our team around diversity and inclusion in past years. As you may have also seen, we created the Omnibus Project, an initiative to encourage and empower diversity in the tech industry, starting internally here at Busbud. That means taking a public stance to support diversity, hosting events such as Ladies Learning Code, and promoting it through our product, marketing, and people operations. We are serious about being part of the change and expect our Busbuddies to lead it with us.
