I have been working at CAE full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    - An amazing product to play with for a young engineer.
    - Various travel opportunities depending on your system or group.

    Cons

    - The corporate management that has been in place since 2008 has hurt the quality of the product to an level unimaginable by anyone who worked at CAE before that period. When will the customer realize that something has changed for the worst?...
    - A huge number of experienced employees (10-15-20 years) have left to be replace by young graduates. The total number of years of experience gone must be amazing.
    - Simulator work schedules are 24hrs. it is not unusual to work on the evening or at night. Even for 20+ years experienced engineer.

    Advice to Management

Your many reorganizations of Engineering might have hurt the culture and know-how of this company beyond repair. The saddest part of it all: the lost of pride which was so present and distinct before 2007.
