I worked at CAE as an intern (More than 3 years)

Pros

I had a great supervisor and awesome coworkers. We had weekly happening helping in team bounding. The tasks are given according to your interest of being involved in the team project. You can get to work on Civil, Commercial and Military projects, which may be considered secret. The work hours are flexible.

Cons

Really close to the YUL airport, kind of noisy depending where is your work place.
Must resolve problems as management wants, sometimes not much freedom for creativity.

Advice to Management

Let people use their creativity to find better ways at solving problems.

    - Just OK cab service
    - If you lucky enough, you may get (win) 1 or 2 trips to Montreal
    - Good Co-workers (at least ones I work with)

    Cons

    - Highly unstable work place, anyone can get fired anytime without any prior information
    - Management is not sure exactly what they want to do
    - Always making big plans but no execution
    - Rarely use any industry standard tools, so CAE experience is not useful in other jobs
    - Poor (chutiya) HR
    - Really bad food
    - Remote location, you won't even get water outside of CAE campus
    - Not flexible work hours
    - Not much career growth
    - Highly corrupt managment

    Advice to Management

Nothing, no one can help CAE
