Pros

Agency truly serves a vulnerable population and is changing the lives of many Tulsa area families. Some flexibility in start time (between 7:00 am and 8:30 am). Some school breaks off.

Cons

The agency does NOT believe in raises at all. There isn’t moving within your rank and upward mobility is bleak unless you’re favorited—even with the qualifications of experience necessary. Even if you voice your need for growth relentlessly, you’ll only get stuck with Director-level projects with no raise, recognition, or improved involvement within the agency. Prepare to be used, not fully utilized. Also, extremely poor pay. The job descriptions don’t closely resemble the position and you will never be paid your worth—non-profit or not. They hide behind the excuse that they’re a non-profit so you can’t be paid fairly, but I left for a similar non-profit in the same role for double the salary.

Cons

If you do not have a degree, you are not compensated for your experience in the field. Site Leaders don't always show concern for their staff.
