I have been working at CDNetworks full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

-Many good people
-Many good technologies and services (not all)
-Ability to get promoted or change jobs
-Small company mindset with big company financials
-Ability to get noticed at any level and make an impact

Many other reviews are too quick to point out the flaws with too little regard for the positives. Reorgs and RIFs have been a part of life in Silicon Valley forever, most heavily during the latest long downturn. It is naive to think that this company has been hit harder than most or handled them more poorly. High-tech pays well because it is neither easy nor risk-averse, and cloud companies are at the cutting edge of high-tech. Choose your career and company accordingly.

Cons

-Some internal politics (although less than I've seen at some other companies)
-Pay is fair but many in high-tech expect better than average pay for average performance
-Product/service development is erratic

Global company doesn't/can't move as quickly as a CA-based company.

Advice to Management

Improve development capability
Improve staff communications
Continue to provide empowerment at all levels
Keep doors open to improvement and feedback from all directions

    Pros

    Decent technology; Critical mass in CDN market to make a difference. With the exception of management, the employees are hardworking and are focused;

    Cons

    CEO is heavily influenced by some inner circle folks (Marketing, Technology) and this causes a very negative work atmosphere; Company is spending more time on internal politics and BS than trying to please customers and employees. Complete disrespect for employees especially from VP Sales and CTO. CDNetworks had (!) a great opportunity in the US market and is losing market share quickly due to lack of focus, internal politics and above all, recurring, 6 month reorganizations.... CDNetworks has been without solid leadership for probably 3 years now. They are up to the 4th 'CEO' for NA

    Advice to Management

    Focus on pleasing your customers and make your employees your #1 asset. Create an atmosphere in which people want to work and perform.

    I worked at CDNetworks full-time

    Pros

    if you're NOT in operations, you will be laid back for a long time.
    Salaries will be arrived at your account in right time, even there will be no bonus.

    Cons

    Too many politicians are corrupting culture, environment, behaviors.
    No technical vision and attitude - that was the cause of many good engineers' retirements.
    No ability of management - some idiots are still playing major roles, but no managements wouldn't stop them.
    No upgrade - Salary, Bonus, Culture, Attitude, Ethics and Royalty for customers, everything.
