    Pros

Laid out a good plan when talking to the employees of a company they just underbid and won the contract. Note that they were bringing on 15 Sub-contractor companies to manage most of the employees - sounded like a LOT of unneccessary overhead...

    Cons

Didn't follow-up according to that timeline. Put the incumbent employees on edge. Didn't communicate sufficiently. Expected incumbents with up to seven years of on-site experience to take a 20%-40% pay cut in order to stay on and provide said expertise to the customer...

    Advice to Management

Get real! You don;t need 15ubs to run a 200 person contract. That's why you have to make pay cuts in order to make money on the contract. If you actually care about your client, then you need to provide the pay and benefits they deserve to provide the level of support and expertise they can provide. All I can say to the client is: "Buyer Be VERY Aware!!"
