Pros

There are work-from-home/remote work roles which saves on comuting, travel time, and allow members a better work/life balance. The stock option is a great benefit.

Cons

Unless you are willing to travel and aggressively seek out other roles, your career advancement can be stale.

I worked at CGI full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Relatively stress-free projects, decent bonuses, good benefits

    Cons

    Lack of innovation
Lack of client interaction (most project teams based away from clients)
Not a true consulting firm (selling code to clients rather than solving problems with their processes/organization)
    Poor raises
Lack of growth opportunities for mid-level professionals
Staff crammed into small cubes/spaces to fit more people
Upper management generally not willing to invest in staff seeking further education/certifications

    Advice to Management

Give staff clear paths for advancement... consider an "up or out" approach to avoid stagnation
