Pros

Flexible work schedule, matched stock purchase plan, independence in processing, wide range of benefits available, some opportunity for growth-but limited

Cons

Young managers that have not had enough experience/lack management skills. At times try to micromanage when it is unnecessary. 401k match is very low -2%, although there appears to be opportunites for promotion, they are few and far between and once you are promoted they only want to provide a minimal increase

Advice to Management

More development of management is needed. Foster more of a team atomoshphere, provide better communication so staff is aware of changes

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Good and smart people. Atmosphere is laid-back and and there's a lot of flexibility, e.g. work from home arrangements.

    Cons

Pay is ridiculously low, promotions are extremely lengthy to get ,e.g. it usually takes at least 5 years to make senior consultant. They don't reimburse your certifications expenses (!!) and the list goes on...

    Advice to Management

I think the management should realize that most of the best people they have will eventually leave sooner or later....

"Lack of opportunities to advance career. Atmosphere is the "good ole boy" system."

    Pros

Working with the clients gives you a sense of accomplishment.

    Cons

Upper management over extends project schedule which causes the team to stress and panic to meet deadlines that are never finalized.

    Advice to Management

Develop a realistic project plan. Allow teleworking for more travelers to reduce travel expenses. Learn how to budget for travels.
