No opinion of CEO

I have been working at CIBC full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Have a genuine passion for what you are doing and people will notice. I have doubled my salary in 5 years.

Cons

It may depend on the district or market you are working in, but if you have a panic-stricken leadership team, you may find yourself starting to believe it is more important to telemarket a prospective client, than it is to deal with one that is sitting in the lobby wanting to give you their business.

Advice to Management

Giving great service to a client is not synonymous with selling them something.

I worked at CIBC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Managers are lazy so they don't stop by to check on you too often.

    Cons

People who don't follow compliance are kept because they exceed sales targets and bring business in. This makes it hard to compete in a moral and ethical way.
