I have been working at CNA full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Pay and benifits are average. 401K is very good. Nice bonus, if you can get it.

Cons

Poor management. Poor technology. Everyone seems to be just waiting around to retire. No passion.

Advice to Management

Leave, starting at the top.

I worked at CNA part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great benefits are the main reason to work there. They had a 70% match in their 401k and I got a bonus every year except 2001.

    Cons

Produce, produce and produce but always follow their guidelines that change monthly if not daily. That produced a combined ratio of 135 one year. Little time for the family.

    Advice to Management

    Production w/o profit = bankruptcy.
