    Pros

good 401(k) match program and decent year end bonus potential
good medical and dental benefits, 15 or so paid holidays

    Cons

Employees should be promoted based on their capability and contribution to the company not based who that person knows (examples: Credit Card, Wholesale directors & middle management)

    Advice to Management

Accountability is a big joke. Either embrace the principle or stop using the word. Stop promoting people who have minimal qualifications.

    Pros

Great benefits and opportunities are varied

    Cons

Downsizing has led to low morale and high stress. Senior management won't spend any money to upgrade seriously outdated systems that keep processes very manual and error-prone

    Advice to Management

Spend some money on your people for training and give them the tools they need to succeed. Pick a strategy, communicate it, and support it. Quit giving conflicting strategies to management, and expect them to work it out. And quit telling employees to save every penny - but still have free lunches for senior management every Monday - or any other day when a meeting happens to be scheduled during lunch time. Tell the executives to brown-bag it.
