    Pros

Unfortunately I cannot think of any pros concerning CODA. Maybe it would be that my supervisor encouraged us to be creative.

    Cons

    The pay is terrible.
    Upper management is terrible.
They have counselors who are not drug counselors counseling drug addicts.
    Work atmosphere is terrible.
Their programs are fragmented to the point where clients get lost in the shuffle.
    Very high employee turnover.
    Morale is nonexistant.
    Employee input is not welcome.

    Advice to Management

Stop thinking about yourself and remember who really makes your agency work.

    Pros

Good place to self-teach skills, and get out. Apply the experience elsewhere.

    Cons

Internal communication is disjointed at best. High turnover, employee morale low. Lack of protocol regarding training, and onslaught of responsibility foisted upon new employees leaves them overwhelmed highlighting their underpaid positions.

    Advice to Management

Take the time, and spend the money to develop stream-lined protocol for communication, authority and seek input from ALL levels in the company (front-line to site management).
