No opinion of CEO

Pros

If there weren't a requirement of twenty words for this space it would be empty. They do pay you for working, but not enough for anyone to live on.

Cons

They are numerous, the biggest problem is huge turnover. There are so many new employees in the course of six months that hardly anyone knows what they're doing.

Advice to Management

Be more competitive in your payscale and benefits, or you'll keep the trend of losing employees as soon as they get enough experience to get a job elsewhere. The Allenwood facility is more like a paid internship than a real job.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

They have programs that help a lot of people through difficult problems. If you want to work in the helping fields they might be one of your only options. Line coworkers have big hearts.

    Cons

Employees are given a lot of responsibility, very little support, then blamed when there are problems. Sort of the McDonalds of treatment, but I think McDonalds does a good job of training their people, CRC Health not so much. There is a disconnect here as CRC Health runs programs that help sames people's lives.

    Advice to Management

Mr. Karlin you have found that there is an endless supply of employees that want to help other people and work in difficult positions for low wages. You have been successful in taking advantage of these people to earn a buck. Your employees would do more for you if you took more care not to jerk them around. You don't need to pay them more, but if you and your staff were more considerate of the employees that were doing such difficult jobs for you the quality of the treatment would improve.
