I have been working at CROSSMARK part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Crossmark offers good pay and benefits (medical and 401k) for part time work. The job, itself, is easy unless you are clueless on how to cook. They are flexible in scheduling and the hours aren't hard.

Cons

Its only part time. Set up and break down times, for some events, are a joke! Whoever writes the sales plans needs to 1) Step into a kitchen. 2) Actually look at or know what the product is. 3) Put some USEFUL information in it.
Happiness of your team depends hugely on the supervisor. I've had 2 evil and 1 good.

Advice to Management

Make sure you hire sane supervisors with a grasp on real life.
For the supervisors you do hire: pay them well as they don't REALLY get days off. Cut out all the busy work so they can interact with their workers.
Offer pay raises or some sort of incentive program. This way you can keep the good employees.

I worked at CROSSMARK part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

decent pay for part time job. You may find out you mke as much as someone that is doing same job as you and thry have worked here 1 plus years more than you. Creates animosity between workers.

    Cons

Work every weekend. A computer assigns your weekly schedule.

    Advice to Management

You will loose your contracts with Sams Club if management doesn't fix out of stocks. Also, slackers manage to slack more and good workers are asked to carry the load. AS you cane see, your turn over rate on employees is through the roof. try hire a District manager with a personality. Not ones that only talk to good looking employees and ignore all others.

I have been working at CROSSMARK part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Seeing and serving new products. Cooking. Meeting interesting people. You never know who will pass through.

    Cons

Short setup times 15 min. and breakdown times 15min and you're competeing with other team members to clean up and get out on time. OT is not allowed.

    Advice to Management

Demo designer could run a few demos to see what it is they're asking teams to do.
