Pros

It's a great place for Hispanic professionals without much experience.
Opportunity to become a Project Manager with little experience.

Cons

Project Managers have the responsibility for projects success. However, they do not have any authority to obtain the needed resources. They get a pocket knife to do brain surgery. To alleviate their own responsibilities, the partners would make people Project Managers without their consent or compensating them properly.
Tends to favor minorities. Their mantra was to be the best Hispanic company in the world.

Advice to Management

Abandon the philosophy that places all of the responsibility on the Project Managers. It creates a lot of game playing and finger pointing. The managers get no support from the top and those below have no stake. Responsibilities should be distributed from top to bottom.
Be honest with yourselves.

    Pros

Small architectural group, felt like a studio within a huge engineering company.
A lot of interaction with clients, showcase visits, and company presentations.

    Cons

Not much that I could think of, only real con is that it felt like the architectural department wasn't that important in comparison with the engineering sideZ which often caused turmoils over which senior architect/engineer had more voice.

    Advice to Management

Better project management for current projects. Architectural department is not being prioritized as it should be.
