Pros

It gives you your individual space and platform to work, experiment and bring forth the best out of you. You would get every chance to enhance yourself at every step as you go along the growth ladder.

Cons

There can not be any downsides of working with a particular organization in my opinion. Rather it depends on the individual as to how he / she creates an opportunity (given / seen/ seeing) to his / her advantage.

Advice to Management

None at the moment.

    Pros

Some changes are beginning to take place even from an account level. A good learning experience for those who want to see how things should NOT be done. You will also gain experience on how to deal with the coldest form of corporate america. Changes are happening so you will also get to learn a lot about how to fix broken processes as well as take part in exercises that help automate workflow. Work life balance is good because you can work from home if you need to. If you can survive here you can survive almost anywhere. A good education reimbursement program if you want to go back to school. CSC does a 15k a year cap as opposed to most companies that do the first tax free $5k for tuition only. Many bad managers are beginning to be exposed and let go. It's a huge company so you get that giant corporation experience. Many employee discounts available. I have saved a lot of money from employee discounts over the years. Good learning potential overall.

    Cons

Managers tend to take care of each other and if you are a lower level staff you have to absolutly fight your way through some bad management tactics in order to move on to a new job (this has been my personal experience). Not much career growth for young people unless you're ok with waiting 5-10 years for a move forward. A lot of comfortable older people. Way too many managers. As an employee expect to get a machine that has already been used and recycled for you to have for the next 3 years until it crashes and you get another used one. I gave 3 stars for work life balance because of the usual burn what you earn policy for vacation. Also, there is not much training for you once you start so you are pretty much left your own devices unless you have a good manager.

    Advice to Management

Grow your young talent because without that this company will not thrive. Help your employees move forward if you want an easy transition otherwise they will quite on you and since you are a manager you will be left to clean up the mess of work they left behind and you WILL miss your SLAs.

    Pros

    Work and personal life balance.
    Flexible working hours
    OK compensation.
Good Onsite opportunites in many countries.

    Cons

Biased Management - My opinion may be specific to a team but I have seen a lot of politics going on. Incapable persons are promoted to management.
    Less technical opportunities
