Approves of CEO

I have been working at CSC full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Good work environment, offers corporate training, allows some work flexibility

Cons

The health benefits are getting worse and worse each year. Good thing that they are cutting overhead costs but not the employees, but I still think that insurance cost for the employees are way too high

Advice to Management

Create more opportunities within the company to allow career growth.

"Not the best working experience, the manager lacked people skills, and didn't know how to communicate with employees."

I worked at CSC full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

They offer health benefits, 401K, and a check every two weeks. If you leave and come back to the company within a period of time you can pick up where you left off as far as vacation and sick time (I believe it's within 3 months).

    Cons

Lack of communication, their reorganization doesn't make sense to have a manager in one state and the employee in another. They don't back their employees when a contract ends you're out the door. It's a large company, the less known employees get lost in the mix, and upper management could care less about the employees.

    Advice to Management

Rethink your organization plan and go back to the old way of thinking and move employees up within the company. If you move a person into management MAKE sure they have people skills.

"Not bad initially, but has since gone to the dogs. (due to business concept and organizational changes)"

I have been working at CSC full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Job availabilty in various fields.

    Cons

Hard work is not always acknowledged or rewarded-appraisals are written to justify the absence of a pay raise versus workers merit.

    Advice to Management

Stop burying the middle managers with useless on-line training and structured workshops and allow them to "manage" the people or at least give them an opportunity to develop and manage.
