I worked at CSU Chico part-time (More than a year)

Pros

The staff is extremely flexible with your class schedule and the training workshops provide you with methods to teach others in an engaging and thought provoking manner.

Cons

If you are looking for a part time job this is perfect, you can usually get between 6-10 hrs a week. If you are looking for more full time work while going to school I would recommend something different.

I worked at CSU Chico part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good work/ life balance, direct supervisor was supportive and friendly, coworkers were fantastic- great atmosphere

    Cons

The pool staff was always afraid of down sizing, there were some safety concerns due to low staffing- blamed on budget cuts. As a head guard I performed evaluations, but there was little effect- people who needed to be let go were not, despite repeated talks with supervisor.
