Great mission, great people, solid company

Cons

It’s a large company and part of corporate America. That inherently comes with very typical corporate challenges, and sometimes drawbacks, but I suspect far less than most large companies.

Pros

* Work/life balance is a part of the culture * My manager encourages growth and self-improvement * A concerted effort to modernize the tech stack

Cons

* Cynical and blatant undermining of the union -- we're striking due to unfair labor practices * Laid-back employee culture results in mediocre code quality and poor documentation and processes
