I have been working at CVS Health full-time

Pros

Steadily growing and well-positioned industry. Excellent pay and solid bonus structure. Leaders are well-incented for solid company performance. Strong and people-centric senior leadership team that really does care about employees. Tons of smart people and a strategic vision for the future.

Cons

Benefits package beyond pay is not that strong. Company is still working to create an integrated culture, more than five years post-merger.

Advice to Management

Be patient. Stay consistent with what you are doing. Resist the temptation to introduce more changes.

    I have been working at CVS Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Flexible Schedules, Pleasant Customers, Tiny discount on huge mark-ups.

    Cons

    Pay is at the bottom of the industry and I received less then a dollar in raises over 6 years. Expectations continue to climb as salaries are capped. Often running the entire store minus the pharmacy by myself. The company is going the way of Walmart. I am very disappointed with the culture of numbers instead of the culture of care. We must stop this fast-food pharmacy ideal. No opportunities for growth in the retail stores. Customers receive better discounts then employees.

    Advice to Management

    You must increase hours to allow for more employees so we can provide proper customer service to our customers. There is a reason we are the 4th worst company for customer service. Unless you change your ways you are on the same path as Walmart.

    Flexible, generous PTO, work from home options, a growing company that will only go up from here.

    Cons

    Salary tends to be significantly lower than other companies in the marketplace.
