I have been working at CVS Health full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Easy to move up at the store level, easy responsibilities, able to make good friendships in the store. sufficient training in new areas.

Cons

Terrible pay, impossible to get a good raise, never enough coworkers compared to how busy the store is, stuck in an endless vortex of retail woes

Advice to Management

follow costco's model and pay your employees or you will never decrease turnover rate

I have been working at CVS Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Its a job that has fair benifits, but also low pay

    Cons

As a shift supervisor, you are expected to oversee the entire store, do dislays, unload trucks, stock shelves all while constantly being called to front counter and the pharmacy for help or change, the counter help are kids and they are not trained properly becaue there is no tie for training, you are thrown to the wolves.

as a shift superisor yo are expected to be the manager on duty and are left alone more times then not, epected to be respnsable for all the cash n the store and to balance receipts and do nightly deposits and they only pay $9.00- 10.00 per hour.

    Advice to Management

All corporate, regional, and district employees should be required to work in stores a few times a year. Corporate has lowered the allotted hours so much that it is imposible for all the scans to be one correctly which ha lead to inproper ordering and overstock that eventually is cast off as out of date.
