I have been working at CVS Health full-time (More than a year)

Pros

The pay is decent, the people and culture are good, and there is a decent discount.

Cons

Too much is focused on bending over backwards for customers to the point where they keep coming back to scam and/or steal from your store. The amount of time that mangers spend managing is less than 15% of their time, in which there is almost no stop to the moving of pallets of totes and cases of product. There is also a 90 day training period for assistant managers which you do not make bonus.

Advice to Management

get more hours to the stores so the managers can actually manage their stores properly. worry more about the bottom line when dealing with customers.

    Pros

    Great salary. Competitive benefits. Nice employee discounts and incentives. Typically able to get vacation coverage without issue, but sick time is another story.

    Cons

    they have zero commitment to employees or to improving employee satisfaction despite their many programs intended to do just that. Our techs need to be compensated appropriately, gift cards just don't cut it! Revolving door of management. Had 9 supervisors in 6 year period.

    Advice to Management

    Stop micro managing and allow us to focus on why we exist..to help customers get healthy

    Pros

    Good strong learing experience available with this company! Plenty of free education about becoming a tech and what to expect.

    Cons

    Not very good management, High employee turn over rate, no merit raises for effort and performance ect....

    Advice to Management

    Show more appreciation to your employees! A simple gesture of kindness will motivate many!
