I have been working at CVS Health full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great people to work with as long as they are all trained together and the same way. Great learning experience for being a pharmacy technician. Good pay and flexible hours in the beginning until corporate has their say.

Cons

Very demanding beyond reason. Anything above general store manager and they don't listen. Hours are cut with work increasing and it's always a fight to keep your head above water. Too much stress.

Advice to Management

Keep the pharmacy technicians happy, not just the pharmacists.

    Pros

    Good staff, I like my supervisor and co-workers

    Cons

    Low pay and very busy. Cvs should be ashamed that they pay retail pharmacy technicians that amount, $10/hr. Its always busy and always short staff. And there is a high turn over rate. Raises are horrible and cvs do not like to give overtime. It requires hard work to be licensed in Texas and work in retail pharmacy and this compensation is no good.

    Advice to Management

    Value your employees, more money means lower turn over rate, better customer service because more people will want to come work for you and stay working for cvs. This means less training classes for nee employees.

    My Pharmacists, colleagues, store managers, and customers

    Cons

    District Manager treated us like slaves. Understaffed. Too much stress. Too much training that does not relate to the work place. Underpaid. For all the stuff we do, we do not get enough pay.

    Advice to Management

    District managers need to treat people with respect and give constructive criticism. Talking down to them will not want them to change and make this company better. It makes us dread the company. WE ARE NOT YOUR SLAVES. We would enjoy a compliment sometimes.....which we NEVER get. Obviously we are doing something right if our customers are satisfied.
