I worked at Caesars Entertainment full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Being a server in a restaurant, it was the first time i was introduced to a union. Made me feel safe and insured things always remained fair.

Cons

Being such a large company, it can be easy to become just a number easily replaced, regardless of all hard work and extra time one might spend on you're job. That, however, is where the union protection becomes important...although, the union causes so much politics amoung not just fellow employees but management as well...as well as the "average Joe" that can get by doing virtually nothing and remains employed, protected by the union.

Advice to Management

There is such a thing as too many managers, too many black suits.
More importantly, do not take away from guests experiences by occupying tables, time and attention that could go toward those who write your reviews and checks.

I worked at Caesars Entertainment full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great management, fun atmosphere, strong incentive and recognition for good service, promoting from within and having accumulative PTO.

    Cons

Mediocre pay scale, trickle down communication between various departments, and assigning multiple tasks to an individual instead of hiring additional staff (the aftermath of restructuring company during the downturn)

    Advice to Management

I would advice senior mgmt to truly listen to feedback and implement ideas which promote individual growth and productivity.

Great, reputable place to get experience.
    Diverse workplace.
It's not the worst property in town.

    Cons

Company too large to be nimble, adaptable.
HR and upper management have chokehold on middle management.
    Stale brand.
    Rigid raise structure.

    Advice to Management

Practice what you preach - a good idea is a good idea.
Give departmental managers power to compensate performing employees on an individual basis.
