I have been working at Caesars Entertainment full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Talented people, great vision in departmental leadership, outstanding analytics environment

Cons

Capital constraints and private equity ownership continuously create operating challenges and unrealistic expectations in an attempt to correct investment decisions made years ago

Advice to Management

Make sure you're investing in the areas that make the company great as there's a danger that you're losing your talent due to lack of strategic investment

I have been working at Caesars Entertainment full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free lunch; the occasional employee ticket offer; decent exposure to executives

    Cons

Highly political; poor morale; lack of opportunities for promotion; salary; no employee parking within a 10-15min walk to the office; pay freeze; high turnover

    Advice to Management

Do not recruit all type-A individuals with high aspirations and put them in a position with no opportunity for growth. This works in consulting firms because you can leave at almost any point for an industry job in any location, but it's not a model for long term success in a somewhat niche industry in a town with not much else going on. People simply start to burn out and become demotivated.
