I worked at Camber full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people working at each of the sites I personally saw. The rank and file members of the company are as good as any Defense contractor anywhere

    Cons

The top six employee numbers could not be trusted. They lied repeatedly about how and why they were making decisions. Staff were promoted or protected unexplainably.

    Advice to Management

Retire now and make way for some actual leaders rather than continuing to support non-functioning upper staff members

I have been working at Camber full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Camber's portfolio cuts across a wide variety of industries giving an employee other opportunities within the company.

    Cons

    - Immediate supervisors are disengaged with employees working as contractors at client sites. We seem forgotton.
    - No professional development opportunities offered. Your just a guy or gal on the job making money for Camber.
    - No annual raise or bonus.
    - No 401K match, just some mysterious "discretionary distribution" given out at the end of the plan year. What's that?

    Advice to Management

Invest in your best and brightest employees, so they stay and grow with the company. Offer professional development opportunities such as: PMP, business development training, etc. Stay engaged with your employees and show interest in the programs they are working on. Get a 401K match, immediately.
