No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Canada Post full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

You don't have to work inside for too long. Exercise while working is great. I don't get too dirty at work.

Cons

The co. is very hard on it's workers when they make errors. 5 day suspensions and a poor work environment that doesn't stress positive re-enforcement are the norm, unfortunately. There is zero trust of management.

Advice to Management

Positive re-enforcement and proper training for workers. Easy on the heavy handed disciplining and frivolously numerous 5 suspensions that cost us all including the co. and cupw a lot of time effort and money. It makes for a poor work environment and grudge toting workers.

I have been working at Canada Post full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Current benefits are good as well as job security

    Cons

Wages on the decline. Work environment is combative and punitary. A lot of veiled threats. Work loads are excessive.

    Advice to Management

Hire from within. Too many supervisors/superintendents have no postal experience. Employees getting very tried of doing all managements thinking for them. Stop creating more obstacles for employees to have to deal with.
