I worked at Canadian Tire full-time

    Pros

There is room for growth if you're inclined to pursue it - supervisor and manager positions are attainable and pay reasonably well. The franchise structure means you could own a store one day and make really good money if you're so inclined. Store-level experience can also be an asset when looking for a position with the corporation.

Profit sharing is a nice bonus that a lot of retail jobs don't offer.

    Cons

Retail hours can be a downer (but this is true of any retail position). Some stores are better than others, and because they're all independently owned you can't just transfer between them like some other companies might let you.
