I worked at Capelli NY full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

- plm system
- huge showroom on premises

Cons

- Like other reviews; in interviews they mention several times that people who work there have been there for years making you think this might be a great company you can create a career.
- everyone including the executives is miserable and they will let you know.
- no direction and horrible quality product
- Remedial work load for an experienced candidate
- there are bins; everywhere unorganized
- product designers? but no actual designing involved
- zero culture

    Pros

    -health insurance
    -decent salary
    -nice showroom
    -large business owned by family
    - organized

    Cons

    -staff that is here has been here for 15 years, which tell will tell you on the interview to get you in
    -quick turnover
    -no sales strategy -meaning you will not learn the way a wholesale company needs to operate in this environment
    -managers dont know their business-they dont look at selling, they dont look at margins, they dont suggest sales strategies or know how to deal issues
    -no room for growth
    -no dental insurance
    -too many procedures & administrative based tasks
    -very long hours

    Pros

    A lot of opportunity to learn, able to become familiar with many aspects of the business

    Cons

    Upper management is comprised of all unqualified family members, need to pick up the slack of people who do not know how to do their own job on top of your responsibilities

    Advice to Management

    Show appreciation for the good people you have, instead of putting all of the problems and blame on the hard workers and letting the slackers slide on by
