I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Just good for learning opportunities.

    Cons

    1. Appraisal process and the appraisal given to employee should be inline with market standards and shouldn't waste the money in terms of branding through television shows; the same amount can be given to employees; this would ensure mouth to mouth publicity of the company. Very less salary hike and bonus. 2. Roles are not defined properly.

    Advice to Management

Management has to be impartial to the employees within the Organization and @ the Client Location. It is good for employees jumping from other companies. They get more than they want both salary wise as well as posiiton wise. Whereas, employees who put in a service of 5+ years are not recognised and their salary is not in line with market standards. Management should change their approach. Need to look at employee growth along with company's. It is not justified in the act of acquiring companies after companies every year without being employer friendly.

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Large global firm, with huge low cost delivery capacity in multiple locations in India

    Cons

Silo based; lack of honesty in decision making; strong favoritism in promotions and alignments

    Advice to Management

invest in the consulting services model to truly build out the APAC region - back to where it was during E&Y tenure
